The volume was created in co-operation with the 11th International Cycling Safety Conference, held in The Hague, the Netherlands, on 15–17 November 2023.
The volume was handled by the guest editors: Ragnhild Davidse, SWOV Institute for Road Safety Research, the Netherlands, and Arend Schwab, Delft University of Technology, the Netherlands.
Traffic Safety Research is accepted as a member of COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics).
The Traffic Safety Research journal calls for research papers addressing traffic safety issues in low- and middle-income countries.
