ICTCT 2024 special submission

The Traffic Safety Research journal opens a special submission track in connection to the 36th ICTCT conference, held in the Hague, the Netherlands, on 17–18 October 2024.

The candidate papers (by invitation of the conference hosts) may be submitted now. At the start of the submission, choose the section ‘Special submission ICTCT 2024’. This will ensure that your manuscript follows the correct editorial track.

The general guidelines for authors can be found here. We strongly recommend the authors to get familiar with the suggested submission template, particularly with regards to the compulsory declarations and statements to be included at the end of the manuscript.

The ‘Acknowledgments’ section must contain the text: ‘An earlier version of this paper was was presented at the 36th ICTCT conference, held in the Hague, the Netherlands, on 17–18 October 2024.

All submissions will be subject to the journal's standard peer review process (read more here), handled by the TSR editors Haneen Farah, Delft University of Technology, the Netherlands (the conference host), and Stijn Daniels, Transport & Mobility Leuven, Belgium (the ICTCT president).

The submission is open until 1 May 2025.

Important note: Starting from 2025, the TSR introduces a production fee of €500 for accepted manuscripts. The authors of the ICTCT 2024 special submission are exempted from this requirement. You may occasionally receive an automatic email regarding payments—in this case, just ignore it or contact the journal team for clarifications.
