SafeInd 2026 special submission

The Traffic Safety Research journal opens a special submission track in connection to the international conference ‘Safe System perspective for Indian mixed traffic conditions’, held in Warangal, India, on 5–6 February 2026, hosted by the National Institute of Technology, Warangal, and sponsored by the Scheme of Promotion of Academic and Research Collaboration (SPARC).

The conference participants may submit full papers based on the work presented at the conference. The ‘Acknowledgements’ section of the paper must contain the text: ‘An earlier version of this work was presented at the international conference ‘Safe System perspective for Indian mixed traffic conditions’, held in Warangal, India, on 5–6 February 2026.

At the start of the submission, choose the category ‘Safe System perspective for Indian mixed traffic conditions (2026) Warangal, India’. This will ensure that your manuscript follows the correct editorial track.

The general guidelines for authors can be found here. We strongly recommend the authors to get familiar with the suggested submission template, particularly with regards to the compulsory declarations and statements to be included at the end of the manuscript.

All submissions will be subject to the journal's standard peer review process (read more here), handled by the regular editorial team. Special submission should not be seen as a shortcut to a publication.

Submission period: 9 February–31 March 2026

Publication fees: Traffic Safety Research applies a production fee for the accepted manuscripts. Discounts and full fee waivers are available for authors from low- and middle-income countries—read more here.
